                                                 Dayton 100+ Women Who Care
                                       GUIDELINES

We meet quarterly every third Tuesday   5:30-6:30 p.m.
                          2026 dates: January 20, April 21, July 21, October 20

• Each member donates $100 per meeting. ($400 per year).

• The donations will be given to non profits serving locally in the Dayton area.

• Polarizing/divisive non profits will be avoided, because we require members to write a check at each
meeting so we cannot ask them to go against their beliefs.

• Official 501(c)3/non-profits will be considered.  A fact sheet is available to help research recipients

• No national programs will be considered because the mission is for 100% of the contributions to stay in the
community, unless the total donation stays in the Dayton area.

• Any member may submit a non-profit she has researched into the drawing at each meeting; three will be chosen
for consideration. Each of the three members whose names are drawn will be given five minutes to make a
presentation and a question and answer session will follow. It is important to present a specific need/use for
   the donation.

• No representative of an organization may make the presentation unless that person is a member.  No grants or solicitations will be     considered by non-members

• The member whose name is drawn makes the presentation; no one can defer to another member to speak for her.

• The membership will vote; the non profit with the most votes will be the recipient. Even if a
member’s first choice isn’t selected, each member is committed to donating at each meeting.

• Members unable to attend are committed to getting their checks in by meeting time.

• The two non profits not receiving the donation may enter again at the next meeting.

• Those non profits selected must agree to NOT use the names of members for future
solicitations or give our information to the public. If the beneficiary of the donations does not adhere to this
condition it will be removed from any future consideration.

• Recipients are eligible for another donation after three years.

• If a member knows of an immediate need in the community she may give the leader the information, which
will then be announced and emailed so members can choose to contribute on their own.
